I did my master’s in data science thesis on machine learning modeling for fantasy football - here’s what the data says about Terrance Ferguson's 2026 outlook and beyond, given his year 2 statistical comps: 10/20 hit 1+ Top 12 FPPG finish (50%) 6/20 hit 1+ Top 5 FPPG finish (30%) 2/20 hit 1+ Top 3 FPPG finish (10%) __________________________________ Year 2 FPPG distribution specifically (PPR): Floor → 1.44 Q1 (25th % outcome) → 4.20 Median → 6.14 Q3 (75th % outcome)→ 8.81 Ceiling → 10.68 Ferguson might have been largely a non-factor in his rookie season, but even so - his year 2 comps are surprisingly promising! People are quick to give up on players that don't produce immediately out of the gate nowadays, especially at the TE position. We've been spoiled recently by guys like LaPorta, Bowers, and the other rookies in the 2025 class. Of all the "other" 2025 TEs (the guys that didn't just immediately produce in their rookie seasons), Ferguson is my favorite bet. What do you guys think about Ferguson? Make sure to check out the video for all my thoughts along with the full list of comps, and check out the full Year 2 comps series on my channel for all the guys I’ve covered!🤙 submitted by /u/boofstar [link] [comments]
