I did my master’s in data science thesis on machine learning modeling for fantasy football - here’s what the data says about Denzel Boston's rookie outlook and beyond, given his year 1 statistical comps: 10/20 hit 1+ Top 24 FPPG finish (50%) 5/20 hit 1+ Top 12 FPPG finish (25%) 3/20 hit 1+ Top 5 FPPG finish (15%) __________________________________ Rookie Season FPPG distribution specifically (PPR): Floor → 2.25 Q1 (25th % outcome) → 6.23 Median → 8.33 Q3 (75th % outcome)→ 12.35 Ceiling → 17.31 Man...Denzel Boston is a guy that I think I'd be more hyped about if he went to damn near ANY other landing spot other than Cleveland lol. His game is predicated on super solid hands, high contested catch %, and big plays. Just simply not the type of stuff Cleveland does well on a consistent basis (at least for now). I think he actually fills a role Cleveland has been DYING to have for years now, but I'm just not sure how much it'll really matter for fantasy football. Especially in 2026, with such a barren QB room and so many offensive question marks as a whole. Will it potentially develop into a role we care about for fantasy? Possibly...but a lot of things need to change before then IMO :( What do you guys think about Denzel Boston? Make sure to check out the video above for all my thoughts along with the full list of rookie comps, and check out the full 2026 Rookie Series on my channel for all the guys I've covered so far! I also recently finished a series breaking down the data on the 2025 class going into year 2, you can check out that full series as well here if you're interested. 🤙 submitted by /u/boofstar [link] [comments]
