I did my master’s in data science thesis on machine learning modeling for fantasy football - here’s what the data says about Antonio Williams' rookie outlook and beyond, given his year 1 statistical comps: 5/20 hit 1+ Top 24 FPPG finish (25%) 4/20 hit 1+ Top 12 FPPG finish (20%) 1/20 hit 1+ Top 5 FPPG finish (5%) __________________________________ Rookie Season FPPG distribution specifically (PPR): Floor → 1.03 Q1 (25th % outcome) → 3.12 Median → 6.52 Q3 (75th % outcome)→ 10.11 Ceiling → 12.66 Williams is quite an intriguing WR prospect for me. Even though his % hit rates and rookie season ROO aren't super tantalizing, there is still a lot to like about this profile. He has one of the better production profiles of all WRs in this class. Even though he was a four year player at Clemson, he produced right out of the gate in his freshman season, and had a true breakout year in his junior season. When it comes to early production, he looks awesome, and it gives him in the edge on the production side over profiles like Boston, Bernard, Stribling etc. Additionally, I'm not sure there are many WRs from the 2026 class set up with more intriguing NFL situations than Antonio Williams. He's entering a wide open Washington Commanders WR room (outside of McLaurin), and the team is ESPECIALLY needy of a WR with Williams' slot-heavy, low ADoT skillset. I think there's a very real chance Williams is on the field in week 1 for the Commanders. Will he be able to show he belongs? That's another question...but the talent profile from college is one I want to bet on, especially considering his current cost. What do you guys think about Antonio Williams? Make sure to check out the video above for all my thoughts along with the full list of rookie comps, and check out the full 2026 Rookie Series on my channel for all the guys I've covered so far! I also recently finished a series breaking down the data on the 2025 class going into year 2, you can check out that full series as well here if you're interested. 🤙 submitted by /u/boofstar [link] [comments]
