What are your tips/tricks for overcoming hubris?

Everyone always overvalues their own players. You have added them to your roster for a reason, and then you continue to follow them closer than the guys you don’t roster. So when it comes down to cuts, what are you doing to overcome that “confidence” you have in all of your players?
