Not that there was much hope left anyway for Kaleb Johnson, but Homer is likely being brought is for his special teams work. So now the Steelers have paid Rico Dowdle who you assume is the bruiser which would in theory be Johnson’s role, they’ve already paid Warren as the 3rd down receiving back, and they’re bringing in a special teams focused RB which really wasn’t Johnson’s game anyway but his only chance to get on the field.
