Over the span of the next few weeks, we’re going to be bringing you our 2025 versions of the “Perfect Draft.” Anyone who has followed us for any length of time knows you can’t enter a draft without a strategy but which strategy you choose will directly affect who you want to target. With that in mind, these are the strategies we’re going to cover: Win Now Value Balanced Productive Struggle Fake Punt Zero RB Robust RB Today, we’ll continue the series with an analysis of a superflex draft looking to win now. The future is of no concern here; it is all about hanging a banner in 2026. Those fly forever, and tomorrow’s problems are best left there. We’re going to look at three different areas of the draft to demonstrate how to execute this strategy from anywhere in the draft order. Early is defined as picks one to four, middle as picks five to eight, and late as picks nine through 12. Many startup draft picks are bound to be traded, and every draft format is a little different, but this will give you an idea of who you can target throughout the draft. Using June Superflex ADP , let’s have the perfect dynasty startup draft. First Round Early (Team One): Josh Allen , QB BUF This is a slam dunk selection at number one. Josh Allen is the game’s most consistent fantasy performer at quarterback – and possibly overall – and is right in the midst of his prime years. He has a great shot at being the QB1 overall again in 2026, and as a bonus, is far from the end of his career. Mid (Team Two): Bijan Robinson , RB ATL Quarterbacks are essential in a superflex format, but premier running backs’ value will be evergreen. Bijan Robinson was as good as ever in 2025 and remains the stalwart of an offense that could improve with new head coach Kevin Stefanski. The high-end running backs create value like no other and Robinson is an excellent building block in any format. Late (Team Three): Joe Burrow , QB CIN Burrow has been an unpredictable fantasy asset due to his missed time, but he maintains the supreme upside to keep him inside of Round 1. His status is made all the more impressive by the fact he is not a big runner, with his ability to rack up obscene passing numbers giving him the skillset to finish as a top-shelf QB1 in any given season. With elite weapons and an offensive line that has evolved into a credible unit, 2026 could be his best season yet. Second Round SUBSCRIBE TO DLF PREMIUM!
