So we know that dynasty content creators and NFL pundits alike keep harping on how it's a copycat league and how everybody is going to use more and more tight ends. I want to take a look at which dynasty assets are most sensitive to presumed increases in 12-personnel usage. Today, I deep dived into: Which teams are most pass heavy out of heavy personnel groupings? Which players have the best balance of 12p snap rate and 12p efficiency (yards per team pass attempt)? A very, very hand-wavy simulation of how each of the NFL's top 75 pass catchers' yardage would have changed if their teams opted for heavy personnel groupings 5% more often. A few quick takeaways: Everybody talks about teams using more 12-personnel, but they should be asking which teams will increase their pass rate out of 12p. That ends up being the bigger factor. Player specific stuff: Drake London, Colston Loveland to the moon. Wan'Dale keeps looking like a boring but decent click. Alec Pierce might hit a new level. The Chargers pass catchers need to be seriously more efficient to pay you off. Having a healthy OL certainly helps though. submitted by /u/AtonalAxolotl [link] [comments]
