The Latest Fantasy Football News Jaydon Blue — RB (DAL) The Athletic’s Jon Machota believes Jaydon Blue is “the ideal fit” to be a complementary option to Javonte Williams. Machota noted Blue’s pass-catching ability as the biggest reason he could see work behind Williams — he caught 42 passes for 368 yards and six scores in his final college season at Texas. He flopped as a rookie with just one catch and 38 carries, but Dallas did nothing to address backfield depth this offseason. A strong training camp could put him back on the fantasy radar in deeper leagues. Justice Hill — RB (BAL) The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec believes the Ravens see Justice Hill as a good complement to Derrick Henry, valuing his ability out of the backfield and in blitz pickup. Hill ended 2025 on injured reserve with a neck issue and was considered a cut candidate after Baltimore drafted RB Adam Randall on Day Three. Zrebiec shot down the idea that Randall would open the season as the backup, easing concerns for Hill’s roster spot with a new coaching staff. Dak Prescott — QB (DAL) ESPN’s Ben Solak believes Dak Prescott could throw for 5,000 yards in 2026. Solak’s bold prediction hinges on the Cowboys staying a fast-paced offense — last season they led the league in plays per game, pushing Prescott to a career-high 600 attempts. The wideout duo of George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb should keep the volume high, and Prescott has already topped 4,500 yards three times in his career. Only 14 quarterbacks in NFL history have thrown for 5,000-plus yards in a season. Justin Herbert — QB (LAC) Herbert and receivers out of sync in spring practices under new OC McDaniel ESPNs Kris Rhim reports that when Chargers QB Justin Herbert threw in team drills during mandatory minicamp practices, “the results were uneven.” New Chargers OC Mike McDaniel reduced Herberts throwing frequency in spring practices to keep his arm fresh later in the season. Herbert is focused on adjusting his shotgun footwork, which led to him and his receivers being “just out of sync on timing” in team drills. Pat Freiermuth — TE (PIT) Freiermuth expected to remain Steelers primary pass-catching tight end despite Washington extension The Athletics Mike DeFabo believes TE Pat Freiermuth will be the Steelers “go-to pass-catching tight end” this season. The Steelers notably signed TE Darnell Washington to a four-year, $42 million contract extension this offseason, but DeFabo believes Freiermuth is still the teams TE1.
