Happy Wednesday, fantastic people! I have a small request of you! I am working hard to grow this Substack newsletter - and my overall company - here in the month of June and it is a slog as we are in the middle of nothing happening for the NFL calendar. Would you considering sharing this newsletter with a friend - or five? If it’s helpful to you at all, make sure to pass it along and let’s chase down 500 Substack subscribers before July 1st! This Substack is reader-supported. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber. The Latest Fantasy Football News Lamar Jackson — Quarterback (BAL) Lamar Jackson praised offensive coordinator Declan Doyle’s play calling as “mind blowing.” Jackson noted the system change and emphasized Doyle’s creativity and attention to detail. The offensive coordinator is expected to utilize Jackson under center more frequently in 2026. This could positively impact the statistical prospects of receivers Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews, especially if the Ravens employ a more balanced offensive approach. Geno Smith — Quarterback (NYJ) Jets QB Geno Smith was reportedly investigated for allegations of assault. According to reports, police responded to Smith’s residence on Sunday afternoon. No one was taken into custody. The Jets have declined to comment, but ESPN reported the situation is “not an active case” but still being reviewed. This is an off-field matter to monitor. Devontez Walker — Wide Receiver (BAL) ESPN’s Jamison Hensley said Devontez Walker “was the standout wide receiver this spring” for the Ravens. Walker has just seven career receptions but converted four into touchdowns. The third-year receiver is competing for the third WR spot with rookies Ja’Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt. Isaiah Bond — Wide Receiver (CLE) ESPN’s Daniel Oyefusi reports “no Cleveland wideout was targeted more than Isaiah Bond this spring.” Bond was also highlighted by head coach Todd Monken as one of the team’s most improved players. However, Jerry Jeudy remains on the roster, and the Browns drafted receivers KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston. Bond averaged 17.1 air yards per target (team-leading) but faces an uphill climb in the WR pecking order. Ryan Flournoy — Wide Receiver (DAL) ESPN’s Todd Archer reports Ryan Flournoy “has worked in the slot more” this offseason. Archer named Flournoy as the biggest surprise for the Cowboys this spring. Last season Flournoy caught 40 passes for 475 yards and four touchdowns while running 34.4% of snaps from the slot. The Cowboys ran the fourth-most 11-personnel plays last season. Greg Dulcich — Tight End (MIA) ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques reports Greg Dulcich was “one of the primary targets” for Malik Willis in spring practices. Dulcich became a contributor in the second half of last season after returning from injury. In 10 games, he caught 26 passes for 335 yards and one touchdown on 33 targets. With a thin receiver room in Miami and a strong offseason showing, Dulcich could be a late-round TE pick with meaningful production upside. Brian Thomas — Wide Receiver (JAC) Trevor Lawrence said he and Brian Thomas have “taken a huge step” in their on-field chemistry. Lawrence acknowledged they weren’t always on the same page last season. Thomas broke out for 87-1,282-10 as a rookie in 2024 but disappointed last season with 48 catches for 707 yards and two TDs. Ty Simpson — Quarterback (LA) Rams backup QB competition remains wide open as Simpson and Bennett struggle…
