Your dynasty league may soon experience some drama. Maybe that’s normal for your group of managers, or perhaps this could be uncommon, but I feel confident it will happen soon. What makes me so sure? Brendan Sorsby. In case you’re not familiar with that name, he’s a college quarterback who most recently suited up for Cincinnati before transferring to Texas Tech. Just a few weeks ago, it was reported that Sorsby was being investigated for sports betting, including gambling on his own games. Although he did find a judge to restore his 2026 NCAA eligibility, Sorsby has opted for the NFL Supplemental Draft. Sorsby’s outlook is somewhat confusing. Prior to transferring to Texas Tech, he was sometimes projected as a first-round pick in the most recent NFL Draft, and some way-too-early 2027 mock drafts included him as a potential top-five overall selection. NFL Draft analyst Tony Pauline reported that if he is part of the Supplemental Draft, Sorsby would come off the board in the late-first or early-second-round.
