This is an interesting time in dynasty. Between free agency and the draft is often somewhat of a dead zone for action. Many owners are simply waiting for the draft to make any major moves. However some people are certainly down to try take on some draft dodgers especially in what is seen as a weak draft. I’ve definitely had some good luck moving players who get a boost from free agency only to get nuked by the draft. Najee Harris was a big one last year. You weren’t getting prime Najee value but it was a great time to recoup some value before the bottom fell out. Let’s look at a couple guys right now that might be movable today that might not be seen in the same light in a month and what they are going for. I’ll start with a quartet of WRs from the AFC East. Romeo Doubs - He might be defacto WR1 in New England but how long will that last? He not only has to dodge the draft but also an AJ Brown trade. He is between 1.12 - 2.01 on Fantasycalc. Some of the trades I saw were. Doubs for 1.12. I think that’s a smash even with no more major competition that feels pretty fair. Doubs for 2.04 was another one and seems a bit more realistic. This one probably depends more on if I’m contending or rebuilding. The last Doubs deal was Doubs and 3.12 for Chuba Hubbard. This appears to be a defending champ getting an RB in a weak RB class. I’m not a huge Chuba guy but I don’t mind this if you have to balance your roster. DJ Moore - Moore got the nuts landing spot and his value has followed. He is currently between 1.07-1.08 on FC. This feels like an easy sell price. Some trades include DJ for 1.11. That feels fair to me. We don’t know what exactly 1.11 looks like but we also don’t know that DJ is going to just go back to his 2023 form. And that’s exactly what he would have to do to maintain 1st round value next offseason…900 yards and 6 TDs won’t cut it. DJ Moore and 28 3rd for 27 1st. I would easily pull the trigger here. Even as a competitive team you can probably flip that 27 1st for a better younger WR in season. Malik Washington - He is valued between 3.03 - 3.04. I’ve been sending that out in all my leagues where I have Washington. Other deals include Washington and 2.12 for 2.04. I like this deal using Washington to move up in the 2nd. There could be a really big tier in that area but I don’t mind using Washington simply to help your chances get your guy there. AD Mitchell - He is valued between 2.12-3.01. There are two interesting deals I saw with him. First deal is Mictchell and 3.06 for Courtland Sutton. I like this move as a contender buying a depreciating but productive asset after the Waddle trade. The next one is more interesting for a rebuilder. Anthony Richardson straight up for Mitchell. I know AR has not inspired confidence but I think his upside as a Malik Willis style reclamation project is worth moving Mitchell for a team looking to take a big swing. Mark Andrews - He is valued between 2.06- 2.07 Likely is out of town. A new coach comes in from Chicago where they just took Loveland top 10. Perhaps Sadiq is in play for Baltimore. Kmet got a major boost last year until the draft. Andrews is a better player but I could see it play out the same. Two trades for younger TEs popped out to me here. The first trade sends Andrews and DJ Giddens for Kincaid. Kincaid has been a let down lately but his per route numbers are very good. He just needs to be on the field more. The next deal is more for a rebuilder. Andrews straight up for Terrence…
