Sam LaPorta (back) improving, not practicing yet Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Sam LaPorta is "improving" but not practicing yet. Fantasy Impact: LaPorta underwent back surgery in November and is still in recovery. It appears he'll have a chance to return in time for training camp, but his status will have to continue to be monitored.
