So I joined a dynasty league last offseason that my buddy commissions, and we discussed tight end premium at length prior to the startup. Everyone agreed to full point TEP (2 points per reception). It was very clearly outlined in the rules doc and discussed (pros/cons) in the league chat, so it wasn't a surprise for anyone. Somehow, they let me get Bowers and Mcbride in a 14 teamer, and there are a few other teams that have multiple good TEs like Fannin/Pitts, Warren/Kraft, etc. It almost feels like only 4 people even took this setting into account during the draft. Anyway, now the commish has stated that some people have been complaining that the premium is unfair and wants to run a vote this offseason to either drop the premium to 0.5 or even remove it entirely. Might be worth noting the commissioner's best TE is Cade Otton by the way. Anyway, just wondering if anyone has dealt with this in the past and what was decided. I personally feel like changing a scoring setting this drastically a single year after the startup is ludicrous. I feel like it has a good chance of getting 75% majority because most of the owners in the league do not have good tight ends and will thus vote with their biases. submitted by /u/PhysiologyIsPhun [link] [comments]
