With the 2026 NFL Draft now in the books, dynasty rookie fever is in full swing and player values across the fantasy landscape are already shifting dramatically. While most of the attention naturally lands on the incoming rookie class, the ripple effects on veteran players can often be just as significant. For dynasty managers, this is one of the most volatile points of the off-season. A veteran who looked locked into a featured role before the draft can suddenly find himself battling for touches, or even losing his job entirely, after a franchise invests fresh draft capital at his position. Now that the dynasty market has had time to react, updated startup ADP data gives us a clearer picture of which veterans gained value, which ones took a hit, and how managers are adjusting to the post-draft landscape. Using May 2026 DLF Dynasty startup ADP , here are the veteran players who were most affected by the NFL Draft, along with their dynasty fantasy football outlook. (The indicated change is the rise or fall in startup ADP spots from April ADP to May ADP). Risers Malik Willis , QB MIA (+37.7) Willis has seen his dynasty value rise significantly this off-season after signing a three-year deal with the Miami Dolphins to replace departing quarterback Tua Tagovailoa . The move came following an encouraging stint as a backup in Green Bay, where Willis flashed enough potential to earn another opportunity as a starter. Initially, however, the situation in Miami quickly began to look concerning. The Dolphins chose not to re-sign Tyreek Hill and later traded Jaylen Waddle to the Denver Broncos, leaving the offense dangerously thin on proven pass-catching talent outside of De'Von Achane . The 2026 NFL Draft helped ease some of those concerns. Miami invested heavily in offensive weapons, using three third-round picks on WR Caleb Douglas , WR Chris Bell , and TE Will Kacmarek , before later adding WR Kevin Coleman Jr in the fifth round. None of those additions are guaranteed stars, but they at least give Miami a foundation to build around. Bell, in particular, stands out as an intriguing upside bet once he fully recovers from the ACL injury that derailed some of his potential first-round momentum during the early stages of the draft process. The Dolphins still appear to be entering a transitional period, so consistent success may be difficult to come by this season. Still, Willis should finally get a legitimate opportunity to prove himself as a starter, and his rushing ability alone gives him intriguing fantasy upside. In superflex dynasty leagues especially, that combination of opportunity and mobility makes him one of the more interesting ascending quarterback assets right now. SUBSCRIBE TO DLF PREMIUM!
