Welcome to the ninth piece in a long, daily series: Reading the NFL Offseason Tea Leaves. This series is meant to be a primer for anyone who’s not yet steeped themselves in the NFL’s offseason events. We’ll be touching on the fantasy implications for all 32 NFL teams in regards to: Coaching Changes Free Agency NFL Draft The 32-day series will go in reverse order of DraftKings odds of winning the Super Bowl, which means today’s article will cover the New Orleans Saints who are +9,000 odds. Article TL;DR: Buy pieces of a Kellen Moore offense. It’ll be year two in Moore’s system and we should expect growth across the board from a fantasy perspective. If the offensive line remains healthy this year the Saints offense should produce fantasy relevant players at every position. Travis Etienne (pronounced "Achane") was paid lead RB money in free agency, but will likely cede 30-40% of his snaps to Kamara. WR Jordyn Tyson was selected with the 8th pick in the draft to be the WR2 in the offense behind Chris Olave. Tyson will see opposing defenses second best CB and won’t be the focal point of defensive coverages. Oscar Delp, who ran a 4.48 forty at his Pro Day, was selected 73rd overall by the Saints in the draft. Delp will likely replace veteran TE Juwan Johnson when Johnson’s contract expires at the end of the 2026 season. Even if they re-sign Johnson, I think Delp wins the TE1 role in 2027. All of the additions this offseason and another year in Kellen Moore’s system should elevate Tyler Shough into the high-end QB2 to back-end QB1 range in 2026. His ADP in redraft is great for fantasy managers who punt QB. In dynasty, I like acquiring Shough but his price point has varied wildly across my leagues. If you can acquire him for a late 2026 first I would pull the trigger.
