I get it he’s boring but there’s also a high probability that he’s buried on one of your league mates roster as an affordable afterthought. I can’t think of a more obvious bounce back candidate as a clear buy low for anyone looking for cheap RB production. This time last year and only a few months removed from a 4/33 15 mill guaranteed extension and RB14 finish he entered the season as the clear RB1 on the Panthers. After getting hurt by week 5 Rico Dowdle seemingly took his starting job. The Panthers then adopted the “hot hand” approach for the remainder of the season with Rico being the front runner. Well Rico Dowdle is no longer on the team and Chuba seems to be in the same position he was this time last year, the clear RB1 on the team. Who’s his competition? Jonathan Brooks off two ACL injuries and uninspiring Trevor Etienne and AJ Dillion. The Panthers also haven’t brought in any noteworthy RB FA or haven’t been mocked taking an RB high in the draft. What am I missing? This seems to be a clear opportunity to buy for about half the price he was last offseason with about the same opportunity in what should be an improved Panthers offense from when he finished as a high end RB2. submitted by /u/Deutschfuranfanger [link] [comments]
