This is how I'm trying to read and interpret the tea leaves. How are other's projecting Charbs? Will come back late this season and probably ease into the playoff run Is an unrestricted free agent next year Just witnessed the team draft a 1st Rd running back Was really pretty damn good in his first three years. He held his own more than admirably with Walker (a more explosive and higher invested back). To my eyes, the coaching staff seemed to trust Charbs more He has workhorse size 6'1" and 220lbs. He can move the pile. He doesn't have that top end speed, he clocked a 4.53 40. But in my book, that's fast enough at this position. He's 25.3 months old. I think if he gets out of Seattle next offseason, he will land a very nice contract as the RB1 somewhere. With his age, he's got 2-3 very good fantasy years left in him. The concern is that he signs an extension with the Seahawks and is slated for a 50/50 time split with Price. But I'm buying. I'll roll the dice he doesn't sign with Seattle. Even though I think Seattle probably wants to keep him. From Charb's POV, a bigger contract and opportunity awaits in free agency. With the hype on Price, the injury, the partial year of play ahead - I see it all as one hell of a buy low opp. submitted by /u/Extrapolis [link] [comments]
