How to value FAAB for beginners

I am in my first dynasty league that has FAAB. I’m in multiple dynasty leagues now for a few years but this one is new as I’m introduced to FAAB and not sure of its true value right now. I’m more of a trade all of my picks for established players guy and see that FAAB can be traded as well but I don’t wanna go and get ripped off in the first trade I send involving it.
