Welcome to the positional Buy, Sell, Hold series, where each week I’ll focus on one position, analyze four players, and discuss what we should do with them in dynasty. In this week’s edition, we’re back to tight ends. Trey McBride , ARI – League Dependent 2025 was the year Trey McBride had his signature season. With the Cardinals having a poor defense, check-down artist Jacoby Brissett stepping in as quarterback, and Marvin Harrison Jr missing time, McBride had a perfect storm for production. Setting a new record for receptions for a tight end in a season and setting career highs across the board, McBride averaged 18.6 PPR points per game. Looking ahead to 2026, the Cardinals have a new coaching staff, Harrison Jr is healthy again, and Brissett is holding out. Also, even if Brissett ends his holdout, rookie Carson Beck could see the field at some point. Can McBride come close to repeating his 2025 season? The Move – Everyone would love to have McBride on their dynasty roster. That’s not news. So, what do you do with a player like that? Well, there are a couple of trades. One, if the Brock Bowers manager in your league prefers McBride to him, I’d send McBride for Bowers and try to get a draft pick added on. Two, I’d be happy to tier down from McBride to Colston Loveland if I could get at least a future second-round rookie pick added on. That’s how strongly I feel about Loveland.
