The 2026 NFL Draft kicks off TONIGHT in Pittsburgh. After a fast and furious free agency period, we now have a clearer picture as to what needs each team still have and, more importantly, how they may approach the draft. Consider this a day-of crash course to it all. Our NFL Draft wish list series was a brief look at each team’s needs discussing potential wish list players for each franchise, especially for the early picks. There was an emphasis on fantasy football, but some teams are generally set on offense with massive holes to fill on defense. This series began on March 30th with AFC Wish Lists completed by Colin McTamany and NFC Wish Lists completed by Tyler Loechner, both of FTN Fantasy The below articles are all FREE including how many picks each team has, where their first pick will take place, and an overview of players that would fit the franchise. A few things have changed since publication, such as the Giants and Bengals trade for 10th overall Feel free to make your Round 1 predictions in the comments, tell us who you want your team to come away with this weekend in the draft, and what are some of your dream fantasy football landing spots NFL DRAFT WISH LISTS BY DIVISION AFC EAST (3/30/26): Jets, Dolphins, Bills, Patriots full, free article: https://ftnfantasy.com/nfl/2026-nfl-draft-wish-list-afc-east New England Patriots First pick: 1st round, 31st overall Total first-rounders: 1 Total selections: 11 After coming up short in the Super Bowl, the Patriots have begun retooling just about everywhere. Their list of free agency acquisitions are led by offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker, safety Kevin Byard, fullback Reggie Gilliam and wide receiver Romeo Doubs. New England does boast 11 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, but eight of them are outside the top three rounds with four of them in the sixth round. New England should look to use the 31st pick on a replacement for right tackle Morgan Moses. He just turned 35 and the Patriots can save $9 million with just a $1.4 million dead cap hit next offseason upon Moses’ release. Moving up to grab Kadyn Proctor(Alabama) could be a franchise altering move. Proctor is 6-foot-7, 350 pounds and, although he started on the left side in college, could anchor down the right side in New England for years to come. The elephant in the room is whether the Patriots actually get a deal done with the Eagles to acquire A.J. Brown Not only is there a link between Brown and head coach Mike Vrabel, but the Patriots ranked 21st in targets to wide receivers last season. Stefon Diggs remains unsigned and Romeo Doubs helps, but Brown would be a true alpha pass catcher that Drake Maye needs to take another step forward. If a deal were to get done, it would likely occur after June 1 when Brown’s $43 million dead cap hit can spread across 2026 ($16.3M) and 2027 ($27.1M). How the Patriots approach the 2026 Draft in regard to wide receiver could clue us all in as to whether they intend to trade for a player at the position later, whether it’s Brown or someone else. If they were to invest in the position through the draft, Chris Brazzell II (Tennessee) would be a good get at the end of the second round. He’s 6-foot-4 and ran a 4.37 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. Brazzell would provide size and speed to a Patriots team whose top receiver, Diggs, ranked 49th in the league in targets (13) of throws with at least 20 air yards.
