The dog days of summer are here, and with them, more on-the-field dynasty news. But off-the-field hasn’t slowed down with several pieces of news that will impact your dynasty plans. Below are a few of those stories that stuck out. Stranger Things Jaguars head coach Liam Coen on TE Brenton Strange's new contract: “As our offense continues to evolve, Brenton’s role will evolve with it. He sets the tone as a run blocker and plays a huge role in the pass game as well. His work ethic and dedication define our core values and… — James Palmer (@JamesPalmerTV) June 25, 2026 Any time a player is extended in the NFL, it can be viewed as a vote of confidence for dynasty purposes. Furthermore, when a player is now one of the top-ten highest-paid at the position, it is an even bigger boost to their fantasy value. That’s what happened with Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange this week when the team locked him down with a three-year, $48 million contract to keep him in Jacksonville. On the surface, it might seem strange (pun intended) when you consider he has yet to total 1,000 receiving yards in his three-year career and has only scored six times. But Strange has gotten better every year, barely playing his rookie season before totaling 40 receptions for 411 yards his sophomore season, followed by 46 receptions for 540 yards his third season, despite missing more than a quarter of the season. Couple that with the quote from the post above, and it’s clear that Strange is being set up for a big role in the offense. How far will that take him in dynasty leagues? Dynasty Impact: Despite Strange’s production increasing every year, he could still be considered undervalued. Right now, he’s a mid-range TE2 when it comes to dynasty ADP. And if you look at the tight ends ranked ahead of him, you could make a case that he should be higher. Mark Andrews will turn 31 this year, while Terrance Ferguson is still behind Colby Parkinson and Tyler Higbee on the Rams depth chart. When it comes to trade value, according to our DLF Trade Analyzer , Strange can still be acquired for an early third-round rookie pick. Even a mid-second round rookie pick could be considered appropriate. Strange finished as a top-24 fantasy tight end last year despite missing five games. If you extrapolate his 46 receptions for 540 yards to 17 games, his stat line turns into 65 receptions for 765 yards and a bona fide TE1. Listen to the Jaguars coaches and their front office when they say how much faith they have in Strange. Dig the Dulcich #Dolphins Greg Dulcich was “one of the primary targets” for Malik Willis in spring practices. #fantasyfootball — NFL Rumors (@nflrums) June 25, 2026 Unlike the career of Brenton Strange above, Dolphins tight end Greg Dulcich ’s time in the NFL has been a roller coaster. The 2022 third-round pick started well enough, recording 33 receptions for 411 yards and two touchdowns in his rookie season. And that was in just a little over half of the possible games that season. Dulcich then got hit with the injury bug, suffering multiple hamstring injuries during his sophomore season and seeing action in only two games. His third season didn’t get better as he was a healthy scratch for most of it before being released. He finished the season with the Giants but was released the following off-season. Enter the Miami Dolphins, who signed him to their practice squad before elevating him to the active roster halfway through the season. It’s hard to say if the…
