Just because it’s a holiday weekend doesn’t mean the NFL world stops spinning. There were plenty of transactions and personnel chatter this week that will impact your dynasty teams. Below are just a few of the biggest stories on social media this week. Here We Go Again, Again One last ride for @aaronrodgers12 pic.twitter.com/Thby6p4sXQ — NFL (@NFL) May 20, 2026 Just in time for practice, Aaron Rodgers re-upped with the Steelers for what we know now is his farewell season. There was some talk about Rodgers joining the Cardinals; in the end, he went back to Pittsburgh on a one-year deal. For Pittsburgh, they bring back the quarterback who led them to a 10-7 season and division title in 2025. They are also pairing him with his former coach, Mike McCarthy, who led Rodgers and the Packers to a Super Bowl in the 2010 season. And Rodgers is certainly a better option than what the Steelers currently have in the quarterback room between career backup Mason Rudolph , 2025 sixth-round pick Will Howard , and rookie third-round pick Drew Allar . But for all the positives it brings to the franchise, the same can’t be said for dynasty teams. For starters, Rodgers isn’t the same fantasy asset as he used to be. He hasn’t thrown for 4,000 yards or 30 touchdowns since the 2021 season. He also hasn’t been a QB1 since then either. The chances are slim that Rodgers can improve upon his current dynasty value, but what about the Steelers around him? Pittsburgh did make some significant additions in running back Rico Dowdle and receiver Michael Pittman , to go along with current back Jaylen Warren and receiver DK Metcalf . How are those players’ dynasty values impacted by the return of Rodgers? Dynasty Impact: We already have an idea of what Metcalf’s and Warren’s dynasty value is with Rodgers around. Warren’s value stayed flat as his role grew, finishing as a solid RB2 in fantasy scoring. Metcalf, however, took quite a hit after his trade from Seattle. He totaled a career-low 850 yards and barely registered as a top-20 fantasy receiver. Neither of those examples bodes well for the new additions, Dowdle and Pittman. Pittman, like Metcalf, is coming off a down year, with both now fighting the other over targets. Dowdle may see the biggest drop off. He recorded his second-straight 1,000-yard campaign in Carolina and was, like Warren, a solid RB2. But the running back behind Warren last year – Kenneth Gainwell – saw just 114 carries. That’s less than half of what Dowdle saw last year in Carolina. Bottom line is there aren’t enough mouths to feed in Pittsburgh, and Rodgers isn’t good enough anymore to will them into fantasy relevance. Coleman Get It Bills coach Joe Brady said he told Keon Coleman, “He’s going to be a part of our offense.” Not normally something that needs to be said…but in this case, it needs to be said. — Andy Holloway (@AndyHolloway) May 21, 2026 Bills receiver Keon Coleman was entering an ideal situation for a young receiver. Drafted 33rd overall in 2024, Coleman landed in Buffalo, who were attempting to replace All-Pro Stefon Diggs . There were plenty of targets, and they’d be coming from one of, if not the best quarterback in the league, in Josh Allen . And Coleman actually had a decent rookie season. Maybe not as good as his dynasty managers hoped, but he totaled 556 yards and four touchdowns and finished third on the team in targets. But something happened from his rookie to sophomore season, and it severely cut into his dyn…
