Twenty years ago today, Dynasty League Football went live. At the time, there were only a handful of established fantasy football sites. And very few of those resources even mentioned dynasty fantasy football. The dynasty format was still a novelty in the fantasy football space. The domain of only the most dedicated, hardcore players. It was from this void that the idea of DLF was born. Three friends sitting around watching the NFL playoffs, discussing their dynasty fantasy football league. After a flurry of excited ideas and some notes scribbled on the top of a pizza box, and the genesis of DLF was born. On May 13th, 2006 the forum and website went live! The first website and community totally dedicated to the dynasty fantasy football format! From there, DLF and the entire dynasty fantasy football industry took off. DLF added writers, monetized in 2011, added podcasts, videos, and so many other tools and resources. It’s been an amazing journey – twenty years in the making. We could not have made it without the innumerable people along the way who have contributed to and helped to grow DLF and the entire dynasty fantasy football community.
