how to feel more comfortable sinking value into RB as a high-value team? obviously there’s always downside risk for any player, but it feels extra precarious at RB, outside of top guys like bijan/gibbs or proven vets like taylor/cook, and even with them they have a shorter window and greater injury risk. understandably that comes with greater upside, but how important is that if you’re already pretty stacked at other positions? one option is a spray and pray, RBBC approach where you just target a number of lower value guys with the hopes of some combination giving you RB2-level production, at the cost of a higher ceiling. at some level i think this comes down to a philosophical difference in dynasty approaches, where some people will tell you to go all in while you have a window and others will tell you that the most important thing is just making the playoffs year after year, since anything can happen in those weeks. i guess i still lean a little toward the latter approach, but i also haven’t played dynasty long enough to experience my team value rapidly disintegrating after an unlucky year or two. submitted by /u/phillymaz [link] [comments]
