This Short breaks down why NFL rest edges matter for betting, especially when road teams are playing with more than six days of rest versus fewer than six days. Over the last decade, road teams after Week 6 went 192-168 ATS with extra rest, covering 53.3% with a positive 1.8% ROI. When those same road teams had fewer than six days of rest, they fell to 113-126 ATS, covering only 47.9% with a negative 8.6% ROI.
