With the 2026 NFL Draft now over, we can accurately reassess the depth charts of teams around the NFL. In this series, we’ll be taking a look at players who either gained or lost value based on what their team did during the draft. Today, we’ll dive deep into the NFC South! Atlanta Falcons Draft Class Round 2, Pick 16: Avieon Terrell, CB Clemson Round 3, Pick 15: Zachariah Branch , WR Georgia Round 4, Pick 34: Kendal Daniels , LB Oklahoma Round 6, Pick 27: Antonio Thompson, DT Washington Round 6, Pick 34: Harold Perkins Jr ., LB LSU Round 7, Pick 15: Ethan Onianwa, OT Ohio State Winner: Kyle Pitts , TE The Falcons' off-season has focused mostly on the defense and the quarterback. In the draft, with limited early-round picks, they continued to focus on the defensive side of the ball. Zachariah Branch was added, but he isn’t a major needle-mover.
