The NFL Draft is behind us, rookie drafts are taking place, and as dynasty managers, we are looking ahead to the upcoming season. In our Dynasty Rookie Post-Draft Update series, we break down all the incoming fantasy-relevant rookies, looking at their profiles and where they fit. The basis of the rookie profile involves the usage of STORM analysis, focusing on five key components: Situation, Talent, Opportunity, Risk, and Market. Situation Name: Zachariah Branch Position: Wide Receiver Pro Team: Tennessee Titans College Team: Georgia Draft Status: Round 3; Pick 79 Branch was a low-volume player through two years at USC, seeing far more playing time on special teams than as a receiver - he won the Jet Award as a freshman for the top returner in the nation, which is an impressive feat. But with just 823 yards through his first two years at USC, Branch took the leap to enter the transfer portal and bet on himself, ending up in Georgia for his junior year and final season in college. At Georgia, Branch set a record for the school with 81 receptions, earning All-SEC honours both as a returner and as a receiver. That bet absolutely paid off, taking the leap to becoming a full-time starter at a great program, even if it only ultimately produced one year of elite contribution and film as he heads to the NFL.
