The NFL Draft is behind us, rookie drafts are taking place, and as dynasty managers, we are looking ahead to the upcoming season. In our Dynasty Rookie Post-Draft Update series, we break down all the incoming fantasy-relevant rookies, looking at their profiles and where they fit. The basis of the rookie profile involves the usage of STORM analysis, focusing on five key components: Situation, Talent, Opportunity, Risk, and Market. Situation Name: Max Klare Position: Tight End Pro Team: Los Angeles Rams College Team: Ohio State Draft Status: Round Two; Pick 61 Klare comes into the NFL as an exciting tight end prospect with a high floor, if a relatively low ceiling. He never truly broke out in college, after appearing in one game as a true freshman at Purdue before suffering an ankle injury after five games of his second season. However, he earned third-team All-Big Ten honors in 2024 with 51 catches for 685 yards and four touchdowns, which led Purdue, and led to his transfer to Ohio State for 2025. On the bigger stage, Klare finished third on the team in both receptions and receiving yards, but ultimately had a quieter season than expected. He continued to showcase his ability to get open, but wasn’t the top option in Ohio State - which wasn’t exactly a huge surprise. Klare declared for the draft despite having another season of eligibility and landed in an incredibly intriguing situation. So what are we to do with him? SUBSCRIBE TO DLF PREMIUM!
