The NFL Draft is behind us, rookie drafts are taking place, and as dynasty managers we are looking ahead to the upcoming season. In our Dynasty Rookie Draft Post-Draft Update series, we break down all the incoming fantasy-relevant rookies, looking at their profiles and where they fit. The basis of the rookie profile involves the usage of STORM analysis, focusing on five key components: Situation, Talent, Opportunity, Risk, and Market. Situation Name: Justin Joly Position: Tight End Pro Team: Denver Broncos College Team: North Carolina State via Connecticut Draft Status: Round 5, Pick 152 A popular sleeper tight end in the dynasty community due to his raw receiving ability, Justin Joly fell to round five, where he was scooped up by the Denver Broncos. If I never hear the term ‘Joker’ in relation to a Sean Payton offense again in my lifetime I will be a happy man, but the moniker will surely be attached to Joly at some point. He joins a Denver team that has shown a keen interest in adding to its weaponry this off-season. After flirting with Kenneth Walker in free agency, the team made its big splash by trading for Miami receiver Jaylen Waddle . Joly is another addition to an offense that has a lot of good pieces yet can often turn stagnant. This offense will likely take a committee approach behind Waddle and Courtland Sutton , but there is reason to believe Joly can be part of said committee early. Talent SUBSCRIBE TO DLF PREMIUM!
