The NFL Draft is behind us, rookie drafts are taking place, and as dynasty managers we are looking ahead to the upcoming season. In our Dynasty Rookie Draft Post-Draft Update series, we break down all the incoming fantasy-relevant rookies, looking at their profiles and where they fit. The basis of the rookie profile involves the usage of STORM analysis, focusing on five key components: Situation, Talent, Opportunity, Risk, and Market. Situation Name: Eli Raridon Position: Tight End Pro Team: New England Patriots College Team: Notre Dame Draft Status: Round 3, Pick 95 You would be hard-pressed to find a prospect who looks more like a factory-made tight end than Eli Raridon. He is a tall, sinewy athlete with an above-average wingspan, giving him the ability to be a quarterback’s proverbial best friend. Add in an incredible day of testing in Indianapolis, and Raridon is an intriguing talent. The Patriots were expected to make a move at tight end at some point given Josh McDaniels’ affinity for the position, and Raridon is the biggest investment of the Vrabel-McDaniels era. New England has made improving their weaponry a focus this off-season, with the former Notre Dame tight end joining receiver acquisitions AJ Brown and Romeo Doubs as new toys for Drake Maye . It is a good fit for Raridon. The Patriots are an ascending offense that had a need at the position. Despite lacking name-brand value before blowing up at the combine, he is now one of dynasty’s top rookie talents at the position. Talent SUBSCRIBE TO DLF PREMIUM!
