The NFL Draft is behind us, rookie drafts are taking place, and as dynasty managers we are looking ahead to the upcoming season. In our Dynasty Rookie Post-Draft Update series, we break down all the incoming fantasy-relevant rookies, looking at their profiles and where they fit. The basis of the rookie profile involves the usage of STORM analysis, focusing on five key components: Situation, Talent, Opportunity, Risk, and Market. Situation Name: Cyrus Allen Position: Wide Receiver Pro Team: Kansas City Chiefs College Team: Cincinnati (Louisiana Tech, Texas A&M) Draft Status: Round 5; Pick 36 Cyrus Allen looked up to LSU legend Odell Beckham Jr coming out of the New Orleans area. He didn’t start playing football until his sophomore year of high school. He made the varsity team as a junior and caught 25 passes for 458 yards and nine touchdowns for Landry-Walker Prep High School. A three-star recruit, Allen signed with Louisiana Tech, enrolling in 2022. Allen started for the Bulldogs as a freshman, catching 22-500-4 in his first season and 46-778-4 in his second season. He entered the transfer portal, landing at Texas A&M. He started in five games, but missed the final three games of the season with left arm surgery. He entered the portal one more time and spent his final collegiate season at Cincinnati. He earned second-team All-Big 12 honors and led the league in touchdown catches with 13. He declared for the NFL Draft. He was a major standout at the 2026 Senior Bowl, boosting his draft profile above what his college production would entail.
