The NFL Draft is behind us, rookie drafts are taking place, and as dynasty managers we are looking ahead to the upcoming season. In our Dynasty Rookie Post-Draft Update series, we break down all the incoming fantasy-relevant rookies, looking at their profiles and where they fit. The basis of the rookie profile involves the usage of STORM analysis, focusing on five key components: Situation, Talent, Opportunity, Risk, and Market. Situation Name: Adam Randall Position: Running Back Pro Team: Baltimore Ravens College Team: Clemson Draft Status: Round 5; Pick 34 Randall grew up just outside of Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. He was a dominant wide receiver at Myrtle Beach High School, where he racked up back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in his final two years. In his senior season, he was named first-team all-state and was a finalist for the state’s Mr. Football honor. He was the number 17 wide receiver in his recruiting class, and chose to play for Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers, enrolling in 2022. Injuries slowed his development (ACL in 2022 and played through broken bones in his hands in 2022 and 2023), but also provided a new pathway for Randall. Through two seasons, he racked up 32 catches for 378 yards. In his Junior year, he started the season as a wide receiver once again, but was forced to fill in at running back at the end of the season due to injuries at the position. Prior to his senior year, he made the switch permanently to the Tigers’ backfield. He led the team in rushing and earned an honorable mention for All-ACC honors, rushing for 814 yards and 10 touchdowns. As a converted wide receiver, he was also a threat in the passing game, catching 36 balls for 254 yards and three touchdowns. A leader on and off the field, he was a team captain his senior year and, with his NIL funds, he built a barber shop in his hometown of Myrtle Beach.
