Summer is the best time to evaluate dynasty assets and their place in the dynasty market. In this series, we will bring you a riser, faller, and longshot from each NFL team. We’ll cover dynasty values, positional trades, and overall team outlooks. Let’s jump into the Carolina Panthers! Riser: Jonathon Brooks , RB We expected a slow start from Jonathon Brooks. A poorly timed ACL tear during his final year at Texas put his entire rookie year into flux, with a late start and ramp-up period anticipated by dynasty managers. What we could not have predicted was Brooks tearing the same ACL in his right knee during his rookie year, a serious derailment of his career which cast doubt on how effective he would be whenever he returned. Continuous issues with the same knee have limited Brooks to only 12 touches over his first two seasons. Once thought to be the future of the Carolina backfield, the organization has been forced to pivot and cannot rely on Brooks being the same player they scouted at Texas. Current Market Value Courtesy of DLF's ADP Over Time App . Brooks’ value has slowly crept back up as he moves further away from his injury. After bottoming out last fall when it was clear he would miss the entire season, he has started to ascend and is firmly in the mid-round mix in most drafts. Future Outlook SUBSCRIBE TO DLF PREMIUM!
